"Masquerade" Cover Reveal
Introducing the cover for WFQ: Masquerade 2024, by Danielle Draik.
We're getting VERY close to our release of Weird Fiction Quarterly: Masquerade 2024.
Given the themes of masks and identities and transformations that permeate this volume, we were quite pleased to work with Danielle Draik, a talented artist working a variety of media, whom we met at this year's NecronomiCon Providence. Her work "Of a Laboriously Acquired Objectivity" reflected very well the tone of the stories we've been collecting for this volume, and she was generous enough to allow us to use it as the basis for the new cover:
If you enjoy this cover and would like to learn more, Danielle's online at danielledraik.com and on the following social and shopping platforms:
She's an exceptional artist, so please review her other work and pick up a print or painting (or two or three).
In terms of updates, we have a few more small details to wrap up, but the issue is almost here. It's approximately 275 pages in length (still waiting for a few more bios for our "About the Authors" section) and features 68 stories and poems from 68 authors. This is the largest installment by far in terms of creators and we hope you enjoy some of the new faces that have joined the WFQ costume party.
